Shipping is where agent hauls are won or lost — the item price is fixed, the shipping bill is a set of decisions. Here is how Litbuy's side of it works and what actually moves the number.

What you pay for

International shipping is billed on chargeable weight: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (a divisor applied to the parcel's dimensions). Fluffy, boxy items — jackets, sneakers in boxes — often bill by volume, not grams. Asking the warehouse to discard shoe boxes or compress packaging before quoting is the single highest-leverage request most buyers never make.

Estimating before you buy

Litbuy's shipping calculator quotes lines by destination and weight. Treat every listing's "estimated weight" as a floor, not a promise: real chargeable weight is only known once your items are consolidated and measured. Budget with a margin — if the quote must be exact for you to afford the haul, the haul is too big.

Choosing a line

The eternal trade-off: economy lines are cheap, slow, and fine for hoodies; faster lines cost more and make sense for time-sensitive or higher-value parcels. Insurance exists as an add-on — cheap enough that skipping it on a several-hundred-dollar consolidated box is a false economy.

Delivery time honestly stated

Domestic leg to the warehouse: days. Your QC review: hours, if you are responsive. The international leg: anywhere from ~10 days to several weeks depending on line and customs mood. Nobody — not Litbuy, not any agent — controls customs dwell time, and any site promising exact door-to-door days is selling comfort, not information.
